October 2015. I decided to go on a fall hike near Valencia Summit with my camera for a nature photo shoot. I was thinking that I could capture some amazing colors, but forgetting that I lived in Southern California! Nature was suffering from the drought and the hills seemed dreary, desperate for some rain. A few steps into the hike, around me, everything looked scorched and lifeless…
